- The Free Trial gives you full access to all Premium features for 14 days, at no cost. Once the trial begins, you can explore everything Premium offers without any limitations.

Do I need to enter my payment details for the Free Trial?
- Yes. You’ll need to provide your payment details to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial period, and you can cancel anytime before it ends.

What happens when the Free Trial ends?

At the end of your trial, your plan automatically converts into a Premium subscription, and you will be billed based on the plan you selected (Monthly or Annual).
If you’d like to avoid being charged, you can cancel anytime during the trial with no penalties. -
What happens if I cancel during the trial?
- Your Premium access remains active until the trial period ends. After that, your account will revert to the free version with standard features.

When does billing start?
- Billing begins only after your Free Trial ends. If you do not cancel before the last day of your trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Premium plan.

- Yes. You can cancel at any time during the trial. You’ll still enjoy Premium access until the trial expires, and you won’t be charged.

- Your trial will automatically convert into a paid Premium subscription, and your selected payment method will be charged at the start of the next billing cycle (monthly or annually).

If you subscribe on the web, payments are processed securely through Stripe, and we accept all major credit cards supported by Stripe.
If you subscribe through the app, your payment options depend on your platform and will follow the available methods provided by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). (App Store and Google Play may support additional payment methods depending on your region.)
You may be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment channel applicable to your chosen payment method. -
How do I update my payment method?

If you subscribed on the web, you can update your payment details from your Manage Subscription page by selecting Edit Payment Method.
If you subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, please update your payment method directly in the respective store settings, as payments are managed by the platform. -
How do I cancel my subscription?

If you subscribed on the web, you can cancel your plan by going to your Manage Subscription page and selecting "Cancel Plan." Your Premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
If you subscribed through the app, cancellation must be done directly via your app store. On iOS, you can manage this through your Apple ID under Subscriptions, and on Android, through your Google Play Subscriptions. Since Apple and Google manage these payments, CoinGecko is unable to cancel or refund app store subscriptions on your behalf. -
Will I be notified before my subscription renews?
- Yes. You will receive an email 7 days before your renewal date as a reminder.

How can I renew my subscription?
- Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of your current billing period as long as your payment method is valid. No additional action is required. If your renewal fails, you’ll be prompted to update your payment details.

I signed up on the web but want to manage my subscription in the app. Is that possible?
- No. Subscriptions must be managed on the platform where they were originally purchased. This also applies the other way around – app store subscriptions can only be managed through the App Store or Google Play Store.

What is your refund policy?
- Subscriptions are non-refundable. For purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, refund decisions are handled solely by Apple or Google.

What happens when I choose not to renew?
- If you choose not to renew or cancel your subscription, your Premium benefits will remain active until the end of your paid billing cycle. After that, your account will automatically revert to the free version, and you won’t be charged again unless you re-subscribe.

Why am I being charged an extra tax amount on top of my purchase?

[Legacy Premium subscribers] What happens if I miss renewal?
- [Legacy Premium and Premium+ users who subscribed before 9 May 2022] If you miss the renewal window, your plan will expire and you will no longer be able to subscribe to the legacy plans. You will have to resubscribe to the latest plans available, which are the updated Premium (Monthly/Annual) options.
